Investment company Wellstreet has announced a remake of an old company office building into the Nordics’ biggest start-up- and innovation hub.
The office, located in Sollentuna in northern Stockholm, will be called The Factory and be 14,000 square meters. The hub will fit 100 start-up companies, VCs, tech companies, gyms and restaurants. The bottom floor will house Sollentuna municipality’s business center.
“It is meant to feel like a tech campus”, Sïmon Saneback, partner at Wellstreet tells DI Digital. The plan is to move into the new space during the first quarter of 2019. One reason Wellstreet chose Sollentuna is the difficult situation with expensive offices and the urbanisation of Stockholm.
Wellstreet was founded in 2016 and has since then invested in 42 different companies.
