Nordic Green Talks
Facilitating dialogue and driving green impact
The primary objective of Nordic Green Talks is to facilitate dialogue between stakeholders who have an agenda in climate action. The Talks focus on critical issues related to climate action and highlight policies, technologies, and businesses with the potential to make an impact.
The talks provide a platform for knowledge-sharing and learning, with the aim of building networks and developing solutions. Furthermore, Nordic Green Talks acts as a bridge between the annual Bright Green Summits, which Mundus organises in partnership with AmCham Sweden.
Nordic Green Talks is a series of seminars focusing on specific topics related to driving climate action. The seminars bring together groups of stakeholders from diplomacy, business, research, and NGO. The seminars feature presentations from subject matter experts and critical stakeholders, followed by panel sessions and interactive discussions.
This collaborative platform aims to create an intimate environment for the exchange of innovative ideas and an opportunity to develop actionable strategies to drive green impact.

But how to best secure financing? In this Talk, Karin Björk will run us through what constitutes a solid sustainability strategy and how to prepare for the whirlwind of new regulation and trends and having the right focus in place to secure the right financing.
George Marbuah | Research Fellow | Stockholm Sustainable Finance Centre, SEI
Developing countries, particularly Africa, are the hardest affected by climate change’s adverse effects. At the same time, many African countries struggle to mitigate and adapt to the rapidly changing climate and are in danger of not achieving international development goals like the SDGs due to significant funding gaps and low investments. Green bonds are one of the potential financing tools capable of mobilising additional capital to support national governments to accelerate a greener and more resilient economic transition. This Talk explores the green bonds landscape in Africa and highlights the active players, challenges and opportunities. It also highlights the issue of limited bankable green projects as a reason for the lack of interest by investors in the green debt market. Lastly, the Talk will give a snapshot of the potential of SDG financing tools such as SDG bonds and SDG budgeting.
Lars Mac Key | Head of DCM Sustainable Bonds | Danske Bank
