The Swedish export sector has momentum, with impressive incoming orders, according to Svensk Exportkredits (SEK) fresh Export barometer, that measures the development among 200 companies. At the same time, the smaller companies have a crying need for financing, writes Dagens Industri. For the first time in four years, the number of companies that plan to hire in Sweden is higher than the ones planning to hire abroad. ”The benefits of moving the production abroad appear not to be quite as obvious as before, ” says Catrin Fransson, CEO of SEK. Among other things, she highlights the strong technology development in Sweden as one of the factors. The barometer also shows that Swedish exporters generally have confidence in their economic situation, but that financing is missing, especially for the smaller companies.
